Are their any sites that sell recess lights that doesn't have to be installed?

i live in a apt that is being rented....i'm trying to spruce the place up without causing damage such as wiring for lighting...is there another way i could get recess lighting without installing wires? or electric fire place that doesn't have to be installed.
