this is a bit tough because i havent figured out what the squid symbolizes for you. in the dream you are rescuing a girl i think this means that you feel that you havent been grabbed by the squid but other girls might fall victim to its grip. whatever the squid represents isnt something that you view as evil . its just an animal that is doint its thing. i think the fact that people are being put into comas means that you think they arent aware of what is going on. you see a bigger picture or the implications of the behavior. you try to move the squid indoors to keep it from hurting others but even indoors it can affect others. im guessing that you see the crowd going in a direction without thinking about it. for real world possibilitys if the squid represents uality then it can mean that you see people being swept up by the emotions an being kept inside doesnt stop it.
