Should I go against doctor's orders? 6 mo old with Bronchitis...?

my kids had it younger than 6 months, but our doctor gave them amox. albuterol and pulmicourt nebulizer treatments, and I was told to use saline drops and suction thier nose out, also used a cool mist humidifire in thier bedroom to help them sleep at night.
