Confused about our Labrador's Pedigree status?

I'm uming you mean the AKC? Unless you have a paper with registration numbers on the sire and dam, you are out of luck for a purebred AKC number, however you can register your dog as a Companion Dog now that AKC is recognizing mixed breeds. this means you can enter all performance events held by the AKC, but cannot enter conformation. You will need to neuter him to get the Companion dog registration also. Check out the www.akc.org website for more information.
