Why is there DNA and RNA in multivitamins? I've never seen this until now, what purpose does it serve?

So that manufacturer's can charge more money. There are only a few situations where vitamin supplements are necessary. Otherwise, vitamins = expensive urine. Adding DNA/RNA lets manufacturers make more unsubstantiated claims and lure more suckers into buy their products.
