My husband has thyroid cancer and had it and some lymph nodes removed in February.?

They are now going to do the Iodine test. He has to be on a special diet for two weeks. I'm not sure what amount is low sodium. Also, anyone who has had this test have any suggestions on what he can eat. It seems he can't eat anything.
