Did you like or dislike the ending of Blackadder Goes Forth?

The ending of that episode was appropriate and when I first saw it many years ago I was quite moved by it. Blackadder is dated by today's standards and I doubt that I would enjoy watching the series if I saw it now, but I will never forget that dramatic ending. It was about the First World War, a lot of young men were senselessly slaughtered on the battlefields, often dying in agony. You could not end the series on a high note, bearing in mind that in all but one of the previous series the character of Edmund Blackadder died.
