What AFL team do you follow?

Essendon - since I was about 10-11 years old in mid 1960's. I used to hear a tradesman working for my late father's building business talk lots about Reynolds Hutchison & Coleman & the "Mosquito Fleet" during the post war years of the VFL. In 1960's there were many great Grand Finals & Essendon were a prominent side in this period. They won 1962 flag & in 1965 they came from 4th to win all 3 finals & flag for their 12th Premiership. After that it was lean times - apart from 3pt near miss in 1968 against Carlton - until the excitement of 1984 when Leon Baker, Mark Harvey, Mark Thompson, Billy Duckworth, Tim Watson, & others went beserk after 3/4 time and kicked 9 goals to overwhelm Hawks & win by 4 goals .Following year I actually attended MCG & watched Bombers belt Hawks again by 78 pts in front of over 100,000 - since then the magic of 1993 Baby Bombers & Bomberpower of Hird Lloyd & Co in 2000. Going through lean times now - patience and perseverence will pay off in the end. Go Bombers!
