What foods contain iodine?

Milk used to contain iodine because the equipment was washed in iodine and traces of it were left in the milk. It does not contain iodine now. Plants, except in the sea, usually do not contain iodine because iodine has been depleted from most soils, or was never there. Seaweeds are good sources and there is some in fish. Salt is only good is it has had iodine added.
