My 10month old hates her nappy being changed?

im pulling my hair out! my daughter who is just over 10 months old has recently started refusing to lie down to let us change her nappy. i have tried distracting her with anything and everything. iv tried singing,dancing, pulling faces, toys, clean nappies, food, even my mobile phone (which she is usually fascinated by) .....the list is endless and nothing seems to work. she is just hell bent on not lying down. she twists and turns and arches her body and just point blank refuses to lay there. its getting beyond a joke now. we usually end up with sudocreme all over us both and the nappy is never put on correctly. i have trouble wiping her and making sure she is clean. out of desperation i tried pinning her down once with one hand while i changed her with the other and she screamed like i was trying to kill her. any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
