gravity is important to all of those that you have put.Gravity makes the planets keep in in line so they don't fly off and preventing them from crashing into the sun. Also planets such as jupiter when asteroid get close, the gravity of jupiter drags them in and the either it spats it back out of just demolish,if not aloud of asteroid will crash int to the earth, and gravity holds the planets atmosphere in place
